Professional
- The Green Dispensary Compounding Pharmacy team consists of registered pharmacists with post-graduate qualification in pharmaceutical compounding, as well as trained, pharmacy technicians.
- Only a Green Dispensary Compounding pharmacist weighs ingredients for use in compounded medication.
- A designated Green Dispensary Compounding pharmacist oversees all other stages of production and will be responsible for the quality and accuracy of all preparations.

- The Green Dispensary Compounding Pharmacy assesses all Certificates of Analysis accompanying incoming raw materials and when necessary, ensures that imported ingredients are analysed by an independent, registered analytical laboratory including the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of South Australia.
Operations
- A worksheet is written for each prescription and accompanies the product during its preparation. All worksheets are kept on file (hardcopy) for two years, as required by law.
- .A Green Dispensary 'Consumer Information Sheet' is available on request, for all active ingredients used in Compounding.
- Computerised patient history is kept as a permanent record.
- The Green Dispensary Privacy Policy dictates that these computer files are only available to the patient or to a patient-approved health professional or for use by The Green Dispensary Compounding Pharmacy team in the care of that patient.
- A Green Dispensary patient will have ready access to their computer file on request, at any time.
- All Green Dispensary Compounding mail order deliveries are shipped in containers approved by The Pharmacy Board of South Australia through a secure & traceable postal or courier system.
- All Green Dispensary Compounding deliveries to associated pharmacies are made via a specialist healthcare courier system.
Cleanliness
- Green Dispensary Compounding team members wear 'lab coats' and hair-covers in the laboratory, at all times.
- Green Dispensary team members wear gloves and face-masks when in working with ingredients and / or raw materials.
- Only authorised personnel will be permitted into the Green Dispensary laboratory. An interview or meeting room is available for visitors. The Green Dispensary Compounding Pharmacy laboratory, itself, is kept at a professional standard of cleanliness and order at all times.
