Who is the Green Dispensary?
The Green Dispensary group consists five retail pharmacies located in South Australia. Our pharmacies are located at Stirling, Mt Barker and Lobethal in the Adelaide Hills plus Erindale in the Adelaide metropolitan area.
Importantly, The Green Dispensary has also established a 'state-of-the-art' Compounding Pharmacy. Located in Norwood, this facility is the only dedicated compounding pharmacy in South Australia, and one of only a few in Australia.
Our customers are offered a real choice not found at many pharmacies.
Vitamins & minerals
The Green Dispensary believes that science and nature can work hand-in-hand to the benefit of its customers and patients. So apart from offering traditional pharmacy prescription dispensing and other 'normal' pharmacy products, The Green Dispensary has a full range of vitamins & health supplements AND the knowledge to help you take advantage of nature's 'secrets', their attributes and benefits.
Chemical free
The Green Dispensary pharmacies prefer to offer a extra choice in alternative products that are free of harsh chemicals and toxic agents. So you will find 'natural' shampoos, conditioners, skincare and other health & beauty products at all Green Dispensary pharmacies.
Prefer synthetic or bio-equivalent?
Through the Green Dispensary Compounding pharmacy, we also offer a pharmaceutical compounding service. So customers can obtain medication, prescription or non-prescription, specific to your personal requirements.
Compounding often draws on the benefits that nature provides. For example if you were to begin an HT program to relieve the symptoms of menopause, would you prefer to use bio-identical hormones [like the ones our bodies produce naturally] or synthetics found in packaged HT medications?
